A London Invasion…

We are very excited to announce that we have opened a London studio and appointed an incredibly talented director, Diana Monkhouse, to launch it!

Previously of Aukett Swanke, Diana is joining us with over twenty years’ experience of leading projects for the likes of SMBC NIKKO Capital Markets Ltd (One New Change, London), JPM Chase (Frankfurt) and Symantec (in London and Europe), and will spearhead operations from our new premises in Clerkenwell.

John Williams, co-founder and director at SpaceInvader, said: “We have built a fantastic team in Manchester and have enjoyed working on some of the City’s most high-profile projects such as the Manchester Central Library refurbishment, the re-launch of Churchgate House and the current re-design of Dukes 92, but we see our future growth being in London and it is something we have aspired to do for a while.

“Diana’s exceptional experience and knowledge of the London market means that we now have a solid platform upon which to expand our business and we are excited to see what this buoyant market holds for us. With a number of existing clients in London – AstraZeneca, Helical Bar and Commercial Estates Group for example – we hope a permanent base in the Capital will allow us to better support these relationships going forward as well as embrace new opportunities whether that be through developers, landlords or end users.”

Diana added: “SpaceInvader’s approach to commercial interior design projects will be breath of fresh air for the London market and I am very excited to be a part of it. There will be no ‘one size fits all’ design solution coming from our studio, each and every scheme will be designed with creative flair, attention to detail and specifically to meet the exact needs of the client. We are extremely excited to launch SpaceInvader in London and look forward to working with clients old and new with an aspiration to do something amazing with their space.”

So, if you’re in Clerkenwell and fancy a cuppa, don’t forget to pop in and see Diana!
