Today, Simon and Matt were down in Birmingham for the agent’s launch at Lombard House. Owned by AG Dunedin and part of the Great Charles Street Estate, Lombard House is the first building in the portfolio to undergo a re-design by SpaceInvader following a full review of the development opportunities within the estate. The 1930’s art deco building provides 30,000 sq ft of commercial office space across the basement floor, ground floor and six upper floors. Here, refurbishment works have included the modernisation of void units, improvements to all communal areas, the creation of a new reception space and the introduction of a cohesive design solution more appropriate for a building of this prominence.
Works to the remaining four Great Charles Street Estate buildings – Charles House, 155 Great Charles Street, 154 Great Charles Street and Civic House – are in progress to improve the commercial success of the portfolio and ensure that it better meets the need of the current market.
