For the second year running, we have a scheme shortlisted for ‘UK Project of the Year’ at the FX International Interior Design Awards!
Middlewood Court, the latest SpaceInvader project delivered for global pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca (AZ), saw a fading 1960’s manufacturing plant in the heart of Macclesfield transformed into AZ’s first fully agile workspace in the world. A unique destination boasting open plan spaces, formal meeting rooms, a café, dedicated project spaces, collaboration zones, quiet booths, resource hubs and brew stations.
“Treating problems as opportunities the team transformed Middlewood Court into a place where people want to go and work. Careful consideration and space-planning, alongside intelligent ‘neighbourhood’ adjacencies have facilitated increased interactions, collaboration and vibrancy within the business – we couldn’t be happier.” – Kate Derrick, Global Workplace, AstraZeneca
