We’ve won ‘UK Project of the Year’ at the FX International Interior Design Awards for the Regatta HQ at Trafford Park in Manchester!

The awards, now in its 17th year, recognise international design excellence and were announced during a glitzy ceremony at the Grosenvor House Hotel in London last night.

Beating off stiff competition from the likes of Watches of Switzerland and Two Tabernacle Street, we won the UK-wide category with our “brave and innovative transformation of an existing distribution warehouse, originally built as a WW1 arms factory, into a bright, modern workspace for its three brands Regatta, Craghoppers and Dare 2b.”

The concept has delivered a unique working landscape complete with trees, plants, boardwalks, a wooden pavilion and a central ‘Campsite’ where employees can eat, meet, interact and collaborate. Our design team took inspiration from Regatta’s ‘great outdoors’ brand and created the ‘great indoors’ – a place where each Regatta sub-brand is brought to life in its own distinct ecosystem.

SpaceInvader Director, Simon Millington said: “As a design team we are over the moon to win the FX Award for UK Project of the Year. The client’s forward-thinking approach and commitment to the vision we proposed for the HQ has resulted in the creation of a unique working environment that reflects every aspect of the brand and provides staff with an inspirational space in which to work.”

A fantastic night was had by all, thank you FX!
