Case study:

2 St. Peter’s Square, Manchester

SpaceInvader were appointed by Mosley Street Ventures to create a unique reception space at Two St. Peter’s Square, Manchester.
The £40m office building is an integral part of St Peter’s Square, bringing over 160,000 sq ft of Grade A office accommodation to the market. The building was designed by architects Simpson Haugh and project managed by Swithenbank Property Consultants.

Spread across 4,000 sq ft, the ground floor reception area has been designed to provide a 5-star executive lounge environment for both occupiers and visitors to enjoy.

A space for informal meetings, quiet individual working, collaboration and social gatherings.

Designed to reflect the building’s professional, refined and elegant surroundings, the scheme uses a neutral colour palette lifted by bespoke Credenza’s with brass accents and a feature wall inspired by the external architectural freeze. The palette captures the materials reminiscent of the historic buildings in the Manchester’s surrounding civic quarter.

“SpaceInvader has a proven track record of delivering inspirational spaces for occupiers and developers alike, but their attention to detail, creative vision and one team approach really sets them apart and we are delighted to be working with them at Two St. Peter’s Square. The scheme they have produced is timeless and elegant, it sets the tone for the whole building and will create a space suitable for a private telephone call, one-to-one meeting or evening drinks reception.”

Having previously worked on the interior aspects of Manchester Central Library during its £48m refurbishment, SpaceInvader are extremely excited to have worked on another landmark building within St Peter’s Square. The redevelopment of the area has already made an immeasurable difference to the city centre and the completion of Two St Peter’s Square will only add to this.

The project represents the growing appreciation occupiers have to the benefits of good design, not only in their immediate office space, but also in the entrance and communal areas within their buildings. SpaceInvader understand that visitors start to form perceptions of their company as they arrive at a business address, long before they set foot in a particular office suite. Our clients recognise the value we add by providing stylish, flexible spaces that tenants can make use of rather than simply walk through to a lift lobby.
