The project to procure a new HQ for Stockport homes began in June 2012 when were invited to undertake the development of a high level briefing and recommendations document.

The recommendations document was then translated into a published ‘Request for Developers Proposals’ which entered the market in December 2012. A rigorous review and due diligence process was undertaken prior to the preferred building selection being made.

In January 2014, the preferred site had been selected and we were instructed to undertake the formal briefing and design process for the new HQ facility.Throughout the process we have liaised with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that we produce an efficient, flexible and inspiring workplace / public space.

The final scheme provides a new standard in customer services and community facilities on the ground floor. Whilst the upper floors feature a fully agile work setting with a heavy focus on neighbourhoods and breaking down cultural silo’s.
