We are thrilled to announce that SpaceInvader’s work was recognised at the British Council for Offices (BCO) Northern Awards last week. It was a truly memorable evening for our team, and we are incredibly proud of the recognition our projects received.

The BCO continues to set the standard for high-quality design and sustainability in the workplace, promoting progressive thinking across the commercial interior design industry. The annual Northern Awards celebrate the best office design, fit-out, and sustainability projects in our region, those that push the boundaries of excellence in workplace design.

Eden at New Bailey

Double Award Success for Eden at New Bailey

We are honoured to have Eden at New Bailey recognised with not one, but two prestigious awards: Best Commercial Workplace and the inaugural Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) Award.

Eden was designed with sustainability, wellbeing, and low-carbon innovation at its core, setting a new standard for future commercial developments. We are proud to share that Eden is now the first new-build commercial project in the UK to achieve a 5.5-star NABERS UK rating. This is a significant milestone in our commitment to sustainable design, and we’re grateful to have worked alongside an incredible team to bring this vision to life. A huge thank you also to our collaborators for making this achievement possible.

Oldham Spindles

Oldham Spindles: Innovation Award Winner

We are equally excited to announce that Oldham Spindles was awarded the Innovation Award, a special honour chosen by the BCO’s judges from all shortlisted projects. This award is particularly meaningful to us, as innovation is at the heart of everything we do. The redevelopment of the former shopping centre has transformed the space into a modern, inclusive environment that brings the community together. It’s a reimagining of what public spaces can be, one that fosters creativity, connectivity, and accessibility.
