When global sports marketing agency SPORTFIVE asked us to help create its new UK headquarters in Manchester, the brief was clear, we needed to design an office that encouraged creativity, flexibility, and team spirit, all while staying true to the agency’s roots. And we’re proud to say, we delivered just that.
The design is a unique blend of raw Manchester industrial elements - exposed brick, steel, and concrete - combined with modern, vibrant touches that reflect SPORTFIVE’s global energy. The space encapsulates their core values of Openness, Unity, Fearlessness, Resilience, and Freedom through the design.

A Functional and Flexible Space
As workplace interior designers, we wanted to design a space that works for everyone.. The office is open-plan, with designated "neighbourhoods" to help teams collaborate. We’ve also created several social spaces, including a games area and a large outdoor terrace, to promote interaction and a sense of community.
The Flex Area stands out as a dynamic space designed to adjust to different needs—whether it’s for quiet focus, socialising, or creative brainstorming, while he meeting rooms are equipped with custom graphics and furniture, designed to inspire and encourage creativity.
A Sustainable Approach to Design
Sustainability was a key driver in this project. We focused on using eco-friendly materials such as recycled steel, responsibly sourced timber, and low-VOC paints to minimise the environmental impact. Biophilic elements, like plants and an abundance of natural light, were incorporated to create a healthier indoor environment that enhances well-being.
We also kept long-term durability in mind. The office’s flexible design ensures the space can easily adapt to future business needs without the need for major renovations. This focus on economic sustainability helps reduce costs in the long term, ensuring the space serves the company for years to come.
Innovation
We know how crucial it is to design spaces that keep-up with interior design and technological innovations. That’s why we integrated smart lighting, acoustic panels, and virtual collaboration into the meeting rooms and the wider workplace environment to ensure SPORTFIVE’s global teams stay connected no matter where they are.
A Bold and Creative Design
One of our most creative innovations is the bespoke sports-themed artwork designed for each meeting room. Each room features unique prints inspired by iconic sporting moments, reinforcing the agency’s passion for sport, bringing SPORTFIVE’s identity to life and making the space truly their own.
This office isn't just a place to work; it’s a place to inspire, collaborate, and push boundaries. Every corner of this space encourages creativity and team spirit, making it an environment where people can thrive.
