SpaceInvader Proudly Partners with Hulme Grammar School’s U12s Football Team

Gus Hurst, Director of Sport, Hulme Grammar and John Williams, Foundry SpaceInvader

We are over the moon to announce our sponsorship of Hulme Grammar School’s U12s football team. This partnership is especially meaningful to us because our founder, John Williams (Class of 1991), is an alumnus of Hulme Grammar.

Supporting the school where John’s journey began is a way for us to give back to a community that played such an important role in shaping his values and ambitions.

Through this sponsorship, we are providing the team with brand-new kits and equipment, reaffirming our commitment to investing in young talent and creating opportunities for growth both on and off the field.

Speaking on behalf of SpaceInvader, John Williams shared:

“At SpaceInvader, we understand the importance of teamwork, resilience, and discipline, qualities that football nurtures in young people. Partnering with Hulme Grammar’s U12s football team allows us to contribute to the development of these young players, helping them grow into confident, ambitious individuals. It’s an honour to support the school that gave me so much.”

Hulme Grammar’s Director of Sport, Gus Hurst, welcomed the partnership, saying:

“Football is a cornerstone of our sports programme, inspiring pupils to excel and aim high. Hulme Grammar has a proud history of producing exceptional athletes, from former Manchester City footballer Nedum Onuoha to ex-Arsenal and West Ham Women’s goalkeeper Anna Moorhouse.

With the generous support of SpaceInvader and John Williams, our U12s are motivated and equipped to achieve great things. We’re excited to see their journey unfold and can’t thank SpaceInvader enough for their belief in our young players.”

At SpaceInvader, we believe in the power of giving back to our communities. This sponsorship is more than just an investment in football, it’s a celebration of the enduring connection between Hulme Grammar and its alumni. We’re proud to support the next generation of athletes and leaders, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for the U12s team.
