THREE Projects. THREE Judges' Visits. ONE Proud Studio

At SpaceInvader, we’re excited to announce that three of our recent projects have been shortlisted for this year’s BCO Awards for the North of England, North Wales, and Northern Ireland. It was a pleasure to guide the judges through each space, giving them the chance to experience first hand the designs, sustainable solutions, and innovative spaces that were brought to life.

Spindles, Oldham Council

The Spindles, Oldham Council – Shortlisted for the Recycled Workplace Category

A bold and innovative transformation, Spindles repurposes heritage architecture, turning it into a future-focused, sustainable workplace. By integrating modern design elements while respecting the building’s history, we’ve created a space that honours the past while looking to the future.

Eden at New Bailey, Salford

Eden at New Bailey – Shortlisted for the Commercial Workplace Category

Eden at New Bailey is a next-generation office space, designed to lead the way in biophilic design. The space blends nature and technology seamlessly, providing employees with an environment that nurtures well-being and productivity. This project represents a bold step forward in sustainable workplace design.

Arden Square, Crewe

Arden Square – Shortlisted for the Corporate Workplace Category

A space where innovation meets functionality, Arden Square combines cutting-edge design with exceptional user experience. This project delivers a corporate workplace that prioritises aesthetics, flexibility, and efficiency, offering an inspiring space for creativity and collaboration.

Looking Ahead to the BCO Awards

Between now and the Northern Awards Dinner in early April, we’ll be sharing more about the stories behind these incredible projects. From the ideas that sparked them, to how they were brought to life, and the design choices that make them truly special, we’re excited to give you an inside look into our process.

These nominations are a reflection of the hard work and collaboration from our incredible clients, team, and partners. At SpaceInvader, we remain committed to creating inspiring, human-centric spaces that redefine how people experience their work environments.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in these projects, your continued support drives our passion for design excellence and we look forward to the announcement of the winners early next month.
